Michelle Kricheff is a senior from Chatsworth, CA, majoring in Linguistics and Anthropology. Michelle has served as an Orientation Counselor for the last two years, and she loves Tulane community building. This will be her third year serving on the Chabad board, and she says "I want to help others achieve the special "home away from home" relationship with the student center that I have." Michelle would like to visit Greece, and her favorite Jewish food is Matzah Ball Soup. |

Alexander Shporer is a fourth year architecture student from Charlotte, NC. Alexander serves as the Chabad Student Group treasurer, and he has been working on building the relationship between Chabad and the Tulane Student Government. Alex's favorite Jewish food is Potato Kugel.

Ethan Abrams is a sophomore from Los Angeles, CA. Ethan was a Shabbat dinner regular as a freshman, attending with a group of friends each Friday night. Now, he looks forward to helping bring Chabad's spirit to a new group of Jewish students. The place in the world that he would most want to visit is Fiji, and his favorite Jewish foods are brisket and matzah ball soup.

Andrew Adler is a sophomore from Memphis, TN, majoring in finance and accounting. If Andrew could have lunch with any famous Jewish person, he would choose Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Andrew's favorite Jewish food is Sarah Rivkin's yellow chicken that is served at Shabbat dinners sometimes, and he is looking forward, as a member of the Chabad board, to organizing Shabbat 1000 this year.

Josh Allmayer is a junior from Kansas City, majoring in Political Science. Josh's favorite Jewish food is brisket. If he could have dinner with any famous Jewish person, he would choose Benjamin Netanyahu. This will be Josh's second year serving on the Chabad board, and he looks forward to continuing creating the welcoming and spirited environment that Chabad offers.

Steph Botshon is a sophomore from Randolph, NJ, majoring in marketing. Steph was on the Chabad birthright trip this past May, and if she could have lunch with anyone in the world, she would choose the Ari Hakadosh, the great kabalist whose synagogue they visited on the trip, in Tzfat. As a member of the Chabad board, she hopes "to increase the awareness of Chabad beyond the amazing Shabbat dinners and involve a greater percentage of Tulane in Jewish life."

 Jorge Bresler is a junior, born in Columbia, but he and his family now live in Panama. Jorge is majoring in finance and his favorite Jewish food is Falafel. When asked what he hopes to accomplish as a member of the Chabad board, Jorge said " I would like to encourage more people to participate in the activities of Chabad, and to be more involved with the Jewish religion."

Joel Callagan is a sophomore from Portland, OR, majoring in Business Management, who has become a regular at Chabad Shabbat dinners. His favorite Jewish food is Latkas. Joel is looking forward to using his time on the Chabad board as a to get to know as much of the Tulane Jewish community as he can.

Liz Cherrick is a sophomore from S.Louis, MO, who has been active in Chabad all through her freshman year. If she could have dinner with one famous Jewish person, she would meet Barbara Streisand. As a member of the Chabad board, Liz wants to "bring freshmen to chabad events, continue helping have fun and interesting classes, and create a strong presence of judaism on campus".

Sophie Cornfield is a sophomore from Palo Alto, CA. Sophie was a Sinai Scholars this past spring, and has become very active in the Tulane Jewish community. Yonatan Kaplan is a junior from Springfield, NJ, who is majoring in biomedical engineering, and working on a pre-med curriculum. Other than Israel, the place in the world that Yoni would most like to visit it Antarctica. As a second-year member of the Chabad board, he hopes "to help create an environment that engages Jewish Tulane students and encourages them to a) connect to their Judaism in a a positive and meaningful manner and b) express their Judaism as a proud member of the community."

Ana Lacher is a sophomore from New Rochelle, NY, majoring in communications. Her favorite Jewish food is matzah ball soup (heavy on the noodles). Asked what she hopes to accomplish on the Chabad board, Ana answered: I am looking forward to continuing my assistance in the Chabad kitchen and hope to involve other friends, classmates, and/or students. I am also to accomplish a sense of community within the Chabad board as well as the Chabad Community by continuing to create and enjoy themed Shabbat meals and other holiday festivities.

Alex Levin is a senior from Potomac, MD, majoring in anthropology. Alex is a birthright and sinai scholars alum, and she just spent three weeks in Israel on our Israelinks program. Alex's favorite Jewish food is cholent, and she has two favorite travel destinations: Brazil and Greenland. Alex will be serving on the Chabad board for her third year and she says: I have always striven to make Tulane a more welcoming place for Jewish students. I hope this year to continue that work through helping organize and run great events that promote Jewish life on campus. |

Sarah is returning to the Chabad Board after a semester in Israel, and hopes to make Chabad the best organization it can be, bringing excitement to Jewish life at Tulane. If Sarah could choose any famous Jewish person to have dinner with, she would choose Barbara Streisand.

Natanya Meyer is a senior from Chicago, IL beginning her third year on the Chabad board. Natanya plays guitar and has been active in Jewish singing at camps and Hebrew schools for several years. As a third year board member, Natanya is looking forward to working on activities that will help members of our board bond with each other. Once she graduates, she plans on travelling to Australia to volunteer there, before she attends graduate school.

Jackie Wladis is a sophomore from Syracuse, NY, majoring in Political Science, with minors in English and Jewish Studies. Jackie was one of the lucky participants in our Mayanot birthright trip this summer. Jackie's favorite Jewish food is her great-grandmother's Tzimmes, made by her mom. As a Chabad board member, she hopes "to share with Tulane's Jewish population the joy and comfort I have found in having the Chabad House as my home away from home!"
