 Xany Leon is a senior from San Diego, CA who will serve as president of the Chabad Student Board this semester. Xany is excited about the Banot-programming (womens programming) that she will help facilitate this semester. Xany is majoring in International Relations and she enjoys stamp collecting and scrapbooking.

CHABAD TREASURER - ALEXANDER SHPORER

Alexander Shporer is a junior from Charlotte, NC, majoring in Architecture and Marketing. Alexander serves as the Chabad Student Group treasurer, and he has been working on building the relationship between Chabad and the Tulane Student Government. Alex's favorite Jewish food is Potato Kugel.

 Josh Allmayer is a sophomore from Kansas City, majoring in Political Science. Josh's favorite Jewish food is brisket. If he could have dinner with any famous Jewish person, he would choose Benjamin Netanyahu.

JORGE BRESLER

 Jorge Bresler is a sophomore, born in Columbia, but he and his family now live in Panama. Jorge is majoring in finance and his favorite Jewish food is Falafel. When asked what he hopes to accomplish as a member of the Chabad board, Jorge said " I would like to encourage more people to participate in the activities of Chabad, and to be more involved with the Jewish religion."

Lauren Cooper is a sophomore from Jericho, NY, majoring in English. Her favorite Jewish food is Matza Ball Soup and she really wants to visit Israel. She is looking forward to helping students get more involved in both the social and religious aspects of Jewish life at Tulane.

Amanda Diamond is a senior from Atlanta, who would love to have dinner with Elie Wiesel. She is majoring in Marketing and Consumer Behavior. She says that "I hope to help continue to make Chabad into a place where all students feel comfortable and welcomed." Her favorite Jewish food is chopped herring.

Arielle Gorstein is a senior from Mount Pleasant, SC. Arielle's favorite Jewish food is stuffed cabbage, and she has mastered Minesweeper (during study breaks, of course.) Arielle is majoring in Jewish Studies, with a Public Health minor. Arielle says: There are a lot of Jewish students on campus who don't realize the meaningful and educational opportunities Chabad has to offer. I hope to get the word out to a more diverse group of kids by organizing a broad spectrum of activities that everyone can enjoy and benefit from.

Galee is a sophomore from Scarsdale, NY, majoring in Business Management. She joined the Chabad board so that she can "reach out to people who are Jewish, but not neccessarily practicing." Galee has always wanted to visit Japan, and her favorite Jewish food is hummus. |

Yonatan Kaplan is a sophomore from Springfield, NJ, who is majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and working on a pre-med curriculum. His favorite Jewish food is Falafel and, of all famous Jewish people, he would love to have lunch with Albert Einstein. Yontan hopes to serve as an engaging Jewish figure to students on campus, as a "face of Chabad." |

Michelle Kricheff is a junior from Chatsworth, CA, majoring in Linguistics and Anthropology. Michelle is in her second year as a member of the Chabad board, and she says "I want to help others achieve the special "home away from home" relationship with the student center that I have." Michelle would like to visit Greece, and her favorite Jewish food is Matzah Ball Soup. |

Sarah Lewis is a junior from Merrick, NY, majoring in Psychology and English, whose favorite Jewish food is Israeli salad. Sarah served on the Chabad Board last year and hopes to make Chabad the best organization it can be, bringing excitement to Jewish life at Tulane. If Sarah could choose any famous Jewish person to have dinner with, she would choose Barbara Streisand. |

Dimitry Lukashov is a senior majoring in economics. Dimitry was born in Moscow in the Soviet Union, and grew up in Seattle, WA. His family now lives in New York city. Dimitry's favorite Jewish food is cholent with chummus, and if he couldhave dinner with any famous Jewish person in history, he would like to sit down with Maimonides. As a member of the Chabad board, he hopes to "enable the entire Tulane Jewish community to take the sense of warmth and spirituality that they experience at Chabad and develop it in their own lives."

Laura Rudberg is a senior from Dallas, TX, who will be beginning her third year as a member of the Chabad Board. Laura's favorite Jewish food is shawarma from Israel and she loves to dance. She is majoring in Public Health and is proud of the successes that she has had on the Chabad board in the past two years and expects to build on it this year

Jenn Schloss is a sophomore majoring in Sociology and Social Policy & Practice. She is from Northbrook, IL and her favorite Jewish food is noodle kugel. Jenn would love to visit Australia, and she says:
"I hope that the Chabad Student Board works to bring in new faces and especially, make the Chabad Student Center feel like a second home for new students."

Eric Schwartz is a senior from Philadelphia, PA, majoring in Latin American Studies and Public Health. If Eric could have dinner with any famous Jewish person in the world, he would choose either Sandy Koufax or Steven Spielberg. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would choose to go to Tokyo. When asked what he hopes to achieve on the Chabad board, he said: I hope to engage the general student body drawing awareness to issues surrounding modern Judaism. I believe that interest in these issues will help strengthen the sense of community within Tulane's Jewish student population.

Jared Sichel is a junior from North Potomac, MD, majoring in Geology and Finance. Jared's favorite Jewish food is Lemon Kugel and, if he could have dinner with any famous Jewish person, he would choose Avraham, our patriarch, and the first Jew. Jared served on the Chabad board last year and he hopes to do his part "in helping all Jews at Tulane feel comfortable being Jewish wherever they are". |

Josh Ungar is a Junior from Los Angeles, CA, majoring in Architecture. Josh served on the Chabad board this past year and helped launched the JLearn program at Tulane. His favorite Jewish food is brisket, and the place that he would like to visit most in the world is Rome. |

Rachel Willens is a junior from Leawood, KS. Rachel served on the Chabad Board's Shabbat committee last semester, and she is looking forward to helping "plan fun events for all the Jewish students at Tulane" this coming year. Rachel is majoring in Psychology and Philosophy and her favorite places to visit in the world are Israel, Ireland and Australia. Her favorite Jewish foods are latkes and matza ball soup.
