Zoe Pillar is a Senior from Woodcliff Lake, NJ. She is studying sociology and social entrepreneurship. Her favorite Jewish food is chocolate babka. Zoe loves Tulane Chabad because it makes her feel like she is part of something bigger than herself. Her favorite Chabad memory is giving the d’var at Rosh Hashanah 2017 - what a night.

Tamar Arenson

Tamar Arenson is a senior studying Political Science and International Relations.

 Her favorite Jewish song is, Ani Veatah Neshae et Haolam by Arik Einstein, and her favorite Jewish Food is Matzah Ball soup. Tamar says, “I love Chabad because it was the first place on campus that made me feel at home. As president, I hope to provide experiences for other Tulane students to make Chabad their home.”

Emily says, “I love Chabad because it feels like a home away from home. I have made the best friends and memories here since my first year at Tulane. I know I’ll always have a home at Chabad even after I graduate.”

 Liana Klin is a sophomore from Atlanta, GA, studying psychology and Spanish. Her favorite Jewish food is Matzo ball soup. Additionally, she enjoys tap dancing in her spare time. Ali said, “I love Chabad because it connects me to members of my Jewish community here at Tulane that I might otherwise never have met. It is a great way to feel connected to Judaism while at college and meet new people in a fun and exciting way.”
