Join CYJN (Chabad Young Jews Nola) for a Shabbat dinner with Jewish Law Students on Friday, August 28. Our guest speaker for this year's Shabbat dinner with the Law School is Leopold Sher. Leopold Sher is a graduate of Tulane Law. He is a managing member of Sher Garner, a leading commercial law firm in New Orleans. Mr. Sher is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Tulane Law School, where he teachers a course on Contract Drafting. Mr. Sher is a New Orleans native who had his Bar Mitzva at Anshe Sfard synagogue. He and his wife, Karen, are very active in the Jewish Community of New Orleans. Schedule: Optional Shabbat Candle Lighting and Services: 7 PM Shabbat Dinner: 7:30 PM Shabbat Dinner will take place at the historic Anshe Sfard Synagogue, in the Garden District.
